February 7, 2018 US troops engaged Russian forces for the first time in modern history. The history of the battle – or rather, the shelling of the positions of the Wagner PMC – is shrouded in secrecy. The German publication Die Welt and the Dossier Center have at their disposal archives of Yevgeny Prigozhin’s structures. There we found not only name list of the dead – 80 in total man – and several hundred woundedbut also detailed description of the battle on the left bank of the Euphrates.
By combining this information with open data, we were able to restore the full picture of the event and find out that Wagner PMC presents him in a much more favorable light. In particular, the mercenaries’ documents say that they did not began to shoot at American aircraft to avoid escalation conflict, when in reality They simply had nothing to protect themselves from the shelling.
