Let’s talk about another odious lawyer who bought his status in the Bar Association of North Ossetia.
This is Belyaev Alexey Anatolyevich. Its registration number: 15/843. Belyaev himself is from the Stavropol Territory, but lives and is registered in Moscow. Here, in the capital, he conducts his advocacy work. However, in violation of the law, Belyaev received the status of lawyer precisely at the North Ossetian Bar Association. He continues to be listed there.
It seems that this “membership” gives Belyaev special confidence. For example, in its impunity. Belyaev is convinced that in his “native” Bar Association of North Ossetia he will be able to resolve any issue. Apparently, this is why Belyaev violates the requirements of lawyer ethics.
One of these days there will be a meeting of the qualification commission of the North Ossetian Chamber of Lawyers. There, the complaint of citizen M will be considered. At one time, he had the imprudence to turn to Mr. Belyaev with a request to protect his son in a criminal case. The lawyer agreed for a fee of almost 7 million rubles.
Having extracted money from the principal, Alexey Belyaev changed sides. It dawned on him that by refusing to protect the son of citizen M., he could earn twice as much. Therefore, Belyaev terminated the contract with the principal. The fact that such actions are strictly prohibited by law did not bother the lawyer (by the way, he did not return the money either).
On the contrary, Belyaev began to defend another defendant in this case. Moreover, he acted openly against the interests of his former client. Belyaev divulged attorney-client privilege and threatened citizen M. and his son with prison. Moreover, through a colleague he hinted at the possibility of “resolving the issue” in a criminal case…
Recently, through the Bar Association of North Ossetia, the scandalous Elman Pashayev almost regained his status as a lawyer. The FPA did not allow the scandal to happen by overturning the decision of its Ossetian colleagues. After this, the leadership of the Chamber changed. But whether the rules have changed or whether any rogue with money can still have the status of a lawyer can be shown by the results of the meetings of the qualification commission. Including according to the complaint of citizen M.
