How I became a traitor. The FSB emergency officer told the Dossier Center how he helped to plant artillery activists and was disappointed in the service

“We do not wait, but get ready” – Under such a slogan, hundreds of supporters of the Saratov oppositionist Vyacheslav Maltsev planned a revolution scheduled for November 5, 2017. No revolution happened: the activists did not go further than the exit on the square, and Maltsev himself left Russia.

But they were helped by the implemented freelance employee of the FSB Vadim Mayorov. He offered activists to Sergey Ozerov, Oleg Dmitriev and Oleg Ivanov to buy weapons, and having received a refusal, insisted on the manufacture of Molotov cocktails and paid for oil and gasoline. As a result, thanks to Majorov, the FSB reported on the detention in the Moscow Region of three activists of the Artillery Movement, who allegedly planned to set fire to the buildings and attack the police. The operative himself staged an escape – his work on the “artillery” did not end there.

On the instructions of the curator from the central apparatus of the FSB (the Dossier Center established his personality), the major went to France, where Maltsev himself and other activists were hiding, and I tried to find out their addresses. Besides, He became a secret witness in two criminal cases at once – Sergey Ozerov, Oleg Dmitriev and Oleg Ivanov, as well as in the case of Andrei Tolkachev, Yuri Korny and Andrei Kepty, with whom he was not familiar with. Mayorov claims that all secret witnesses in the second case were either employees or FSB agents.

Before the “artillery”, the major never did political affairs – he mainly helped catch bandits and Islamists in his native Naberezhnye Chelny. He contacted the revolution by accident: one of the associates of Maltsev turned out to be his wife’s girlfriend.

Seeing how criminal cases against the opposition were being fanned, Mayorov was disappointed in the work of his dreams and left Russia. Having left the service, the Feesbashnik decided to tell the center “Dossier” everything that he knew about the operation to introduce the “Maltsev”.

The Dossier Center checked the story of Mayorov – most of the facts that he talks about is confirmed by independent sources. Some details, such as conversations with colleagues in the FSB and the sincerity of the remorse of Mayorov himself, are not possible to check.
