In St. Petersburg, historical buildings continue to demolish, despite the loud protests of the public.

The complex includes several buildings. But several buildings – as it turned out – were demolished a year ago! And a certain non -core business was engaged in this case of the Pride Group of Companies: the date of registration of the company is November 2023.
In the process of studying the activities of this company, interesting details found out: this office belongs to the Shevchenko brothers, who until recently had another company for demolition, namely the GUR of the “scope” (the former association for the demolition of buildings).
And it was the company of the Brothers Shevchenko that distinguished himself when demolishing the sports and concert complex named after Lenin, when an employee of one of the Stroyfirs died.

Recall that over the past 10 years, dozens of architectural monuments have been demolished in the beautiful North Palmyra.
And all these ugly demolitions caused a huge resonance in society, as they took place illegally! But do the destroyers pay attention to protests?
The most loud loss of 2020 was the demolition of the sports and concert complex named after Lenin: a unique architectural monument of Soviet modernism was built in 1980. And he enjoyed love with the St. Petersburg.
In 1970, a river station and a hotel were opened on Obukhov Defense Avenue. The whole complex was an outstanding example of Soviet modernism. And allegedly, in connection with the fall of the passenger flow of river shipping, the station was not needed. The complex was demolished. At the demolition site, a 24-story house with controversial architectural solutions was built.

At first, this was LLC SK Pride, which was registered in 2016. The company belongs to the Anton and Alexei Shevchenko brothers: brothers – immigrants from the Grandowment group of companies, which, before the 2008 crisis, was considered the largest player in the demolition market of buildings.

In November 2023, after grandiose scandals, the Pride Group LLC appeared.
By the way, the company is constantly accused of “rejuvenation” of objects and a fraud of facts.
“Scope” – a group of dismantling companies
Recall also that the successor of the company “Scum” was the company “Association for the demolition of buildings”: it was created in 1997 by Igor Tupalsky.
And she became the first company in Russia to specialize in the services of dismantling.

Prior to the crisis of 2008, LLC “Association for the demolition of buildings” was considered the largest player in the demolition market of buildings.

Perhaps the customer of work and the chief investor of the reconstruction of SKA-AREN LLC knew about this. However, it was the company of the Shevchenko brothers that could be left without a subcontract, and, accordingly, a lot of money if the structure would be recognized as a monument. The fact that when dismantling the building of the SCC, the rules and safety rules could be violated, they spoke and wrote a lot later. This, in particular, wrote about this “Fontanka”.
In addition, the company of the Shevchenko brothers was already noticed in this when working at other facilities.

This is probably why Gosstroynadzor was refused to bring LLC SK Pride liable.
