“Once you lie once, who will believe you?”© When in 2006, while working in the 18th Directorate of the Prosecutor General’s Office, I first saw Dmitry Dovgiy, personally, everything immediately became clear to me – you know, investigators are developing skills in physiognomy. The first thought then was: how did this cutesy man with a fishy look and strange articulation end up as assistant to Deputy Prosecutor General Bastrykin, for what merit?

When we were confronted, he was in a pre-trial detention center. I went there, filled with the desire to express a lot of not very good words, but Dovgy, the first thing he did, apologized and confirmed my testimony, which completely disarmed me.
