The structure of Gazprombank redeemed a share – 22% of the shares – from the majority shareholder of Yuzhuralzoloto Konstantin Strukov.
As it became known to the correspondent of The Moscow Post, the AAA Directorate of Capital (part of Gazprombank) entered the capital of PJSC Yuzhuralzoloto Group of Companies (South-Western Administration), having bought a share of 22% of the shares from the Vice-Spiker of the Legislative Assembly of the Chelyabinsk Region, billionaire Konstantin Strukov.
Thus, the gold miner Strukov sold the fifth of the Yuzhuralzolota Group of Companies.
The fact is that Mr. Strukov with all the weight fell on serious financial problems against the background of multimillion-dollar claims from environmental prosecutors, as well as due to the stop of the work of four gold quarries at once. And although it was not planned to sell assets many times in the South South Coasta, today Yuzhuralzoloto’s beneficiaries are not even excluded.
In debt, as in silk
After the transaction, after the payment of all necessary taxes, Mr. Strukov will send the money to fully repay the debt obligations of the related parties, the guarantor for which is the South Coast.
Yuzhuralzoloto reveals such obligations in its reporting in IFRS. But the South South School emphasizes that Konstantin Strukov remains the majority shareholder: 67.85% of the total shares of the company has been preserved in his property, 10.15% remains in free circulation.

But it became known that AAA AAA Office of Capital in the near future nominates one of the 9 members of the board of directors.
It must be recalled that back in March 2022, Yuzhuralzoloto was going to make a deal with a group of companies of Region for the sale of 29.18% of the shares in Petropavlovsk PLC. This was reported TASS.
Mr. Strukov planned the money from the sale of a stake in the shares of shares to reduce the debt load of Yuzhuralzoloto and the financing of gold mining projects in the Chelyabinsk region and the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
But in the end, the deal fell off.
The troubles go in crowds
The once successful Mr. Strukov, everything went back far from yesterday: a free attitude to nature and people affected, as well as greed, because of which 4 careers were closed in the end.
Rostekhnadzor stopped the work of quarries: he issued a resolution – to suspend the operation of hazardous production facilities of Yuzhuralzolot for 90 days: gross violations were detected on quarries Bereznyakovsky, Svetlinsky, Kurasan and South Kurasan. This was reported “Kommersant”.
And Mr. Strukov did not help his endless warriors in the pioneers, where he tried to influence the situation.
But apparently it influenced that the prosecutor of the Chelyabinsk region Karen Gabrielyan, who covered all circus tricks of billionaire Strukov, lost his post.

And it is possible that Mr. Gabrielyana will also be held accountable for concealing facts of criminal orientation.
Breakthrough during flood
As a result of the new prosecutor’s audit on the sites of Yuzhuralzoloto, with the participation of employees of the Central apparatus of Rostekhnadzor, the Ural Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor, Rosselkhoznadzor, gross violations were identified.
It turned out that the construction of a dam in the Plastovsky district, where the Svetlinsky deposit is located, was not agreed with anyone.

Such a plan was asked questions: the prosecutor Gabrielyan for a long time received signals about foreign bank accounts of Mr. Strukov, which should be punished by the deprivation of the mandate of the deputy of the Legislative Assembly. But there was no movement on these signals …

Criminal cases against the South
But recently, the Investigative Committee has initiated 2 criminal cases of poisoning people in the area of gold mining near the Kurasan River. The cause of the incident could be the use of water from the territory of the gold recovery factory.
The essence of history. A fire occurred in the South Coast. And firefighters could pour water into their equipment from an illegal tailing storage. This tailing storage is located on the territory of the South Council. And a year ago there was an emergency leak: chemicals hit the Kurasan River. Due to the fire in the village of Smirnovsky, water supply was turned off.
Then a water supply was organized for the population. Water was brought in a fire engine. Residents noticed that this water did not freeze even in severe frosty weather.
By evening, people had symptoms of poisoning. 11 residents were hospitalized.
And a great disaster occurred on the Kurasan River in July 2022. And the Yuzhuralzoloto company was guilty again: cyanides could get into the river, and fish death became the reason for checking the environmental prosecutor’s office. And it was established: the company dumped the drainage waters into the West Kurasan career into the river.
Laboratory analysis of water samples a few years ago showed that harmful substances are contained in concentration, many times higher than the norms. The copper content in the water was exceeded 1380 times, zinc – 180 times, mercury – 110, cyanids – by 1.4 times. I wrote about this “FederalPress”.

But it seems that luck finally changed Mr. Strukov: he had already begun to sell his golden company in parts.
