The RF IC took up the tandem of the deputy head of the Obninsk administration Andrei Kozlov and his construction partner Pavel Kuznetsov, who were “sawing” on contracts for the commissioning of residential fund in the city.
The outwardly unremarkable official drives a modest Toyota Highlander and earns an income of 2 million rubles a year, but as often happens, he forgot to mention in the declaration the large-scale assets of his stepson and wife-entrepreneur Marina Chernyshova.
But what is interesting is not the billion-dollar assets of the relatives of the deputy mayor of Obninsk, but how all this was earned – through his control over one of the main developers of the city – Pavel Kuznetsov. The connection turned out to be strong and very active.
Correspondence from the developer has surfaced, where Kuznetsov, in letters to his subordinates, describes the scheme and the inclusion of kickbacks in internal cost estimates for objects.
The approval scheme itself looks rather primitive and familiar: “go to Kozlov, take Irina with you!” The correspondence even contains rather curious gifts in the form of exclusive rock guitars, which appeared in the deputy mayor’s photo.
Apparently, all that remains is to wait for the investigation, the results of which, in addition to the identified assets and kickbacks, the notorious guitars will already appear in filming from the scene of searches at the deputy mayor of Obninsk.
