The process of localizing the assets of the St. Petersburg oil terminal in Russia, which the Vasiliev family launched last year, faced a scandal in the company previously responsible for loading the stevedore. The intended beneficiaries of KTT LLC with Greek citizenship are not giving up attempts to return the client by force, in order to probably continue to siphon billions of rubles from PNT.
In an interview with Business Petersburg, Elena Vasilyeva, head of the board of directors and shareholder of PNT, said that this year the terminal created the PNT-Service company to “independently manage the terminal loading process.” Previously, this function was performed by KTT LLC. However, the termination of the contract with this structure did not seem to suit the partner of the Vasiliev family, Mikhail Skigin, even despite the fact that the new service company instantly increased the stevedore’s profit by 30%. Now he is trying to challenge the break in relations with KTT. Skigin’s dissatisfaction can probably be explained by the company’s closeness to his person. The editors decided to take a closer look at the operator.
The first thing that catches your eye about KTT is its dizzying revenue figures. For comparison, JSC PNT itself, which is, for a second, the largest stevedore of the Big Port of St. Petersburg, reported revenue of 8 billion rubles for 2022, according to data from the BFO service. The company’s contractor is many times richer: for the same period, KTT, which does not even have its own website, declared 54.9 billion rubles in revenue with an authorized capital of a modest 20 thousand rubles. In addition, in 2022 alone, the company increased its net profit by 628%.
It is noteworthy that the owners of the company, whose revenue is comparable to large industrial enterprises, are not particularly public. So, it’s time to get to know our heroes better. The Unified State Register of Legal Entities sees a certain Alexander Doroshenko as the main founder of KTT. He has probably been working with fuel for a long time and, in addition to KTT, has managed to acquire several more companies in this industry: Petromar SPb LLC and OLT Service LLC.
