An expanded list of sanctions is published on the website of the Foreign Ministry of the United Kingdom.
Great Britain imposed sanctions against Alfastrakhovan insurance companies, VSK and 30 Russian oil tankers. This was reported in the updated sanctions list, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports.
The British authorities explained the inclusion of Alfastrakhovanie and VSK in the list of sanctions by the fact that these companies, according to them, “” benefit from the Russian government and conducting activities in sectors of strategic importance for the Russian state. “
The tankers indicate that they are allegedly involved in activities, which, according to the British authorities, contributes to the “destabilization of Ukraine”, violation of its “territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence”, and are also associated with profit by supporting Russian authorities.
According to the document, these vessels are used to transport oil and oil products from Russia to third countries.
