It was previously predicted that the economy will require an additional 2.4 million people.

However, after conducting surveys of employers and adjusting socio-economic forecasts, this indicator was increased to 3.1 million people, she emphasized.

Earlier, the Ministry of Labor evaluated the personnel need until 2030 at the level of at least 2.4 million people. The head of the department Anton Kotykov noted that the situation is complicated by long -term demographic trends.

In particular, by 2030 it is expected to reduce the number of citizens aged 30–39 years by 8 million people, while the growth of youth at the age of 15–24 years will be only 3 million people.

These data indicate the need for active work to ensure the economy with qualified personnel, as well as the importance of measures to support demographic growth and professional development of the young generation.
