Entrepreneur Alexei Sagal, thanks to the buying up of enterprises that remained from the departed Western companies, turns into a monopolist in the aluminum banks market. He reinforces this business with a ransom of HEINEKEN beer production and traditional “dichlophos”, and he may be helped by the first deputy prime minister Denis Manturov here. A correspondent of The Moscow Post in the Stavropol Territory understood the plot.
The sale of assets of Western companies that have left the Russian Federation is a chance on which you can make a condition, which is confirmed by Stavropol entrepreneur Alexei Sagal.
The Arnest group belonging to Sagala gained the arrest of the assets of Ken-Pak LLC, which is a subsidiary of the Polish manufacturer of Aluminum banks Canpack. On July 2, 2024, the FSSP received an executive sheet from the Arbitration Court of the Stavropol Territory, which a structure controlled by the businessman applied.
Ken-Pak assets have now been arrested, and the reason for this could be a violation of the stability of aluminum cans of the supply of aluminum cans to Former Heineken factory. Sagal recently bought it and here he was also being sent by sanctions.
Banks are the head of everything
The value of Western assets in the Russian Federation, which the Arnest group has acquired over the past year and a half, according to Bloomberg, $ 1 billion. This turned the sagala into one of the main beneficiaries of flight from the country of companies from unfriendly countries.
Sagal bought the Russian unit of the Dutch beer concern Heineken, Bannies of Americans from Ball Corporation and the production of cosmetics of the Swedish-Swiss company Oriflame. These transactions were extremely profitable for the sagal – for example, the purchase of the Heineken plant cost the Arnest group of 1 euro and 100 million euros of debts. The Dutch immediately admitted that the agreement is unprofitable and led to a loss of 300 million euros. The rights of reverse redemption are not provided here, the issue is closed forever, as well as the loss of the plant in the UK, but its turnover is only 60 million pounds, so the exchange went out in favor of the entrepreneur.

True, Sagal noted that the production redeemed by Heineken will require investments of up to 12 billion rubles due to wear of equipment entered 10-15 years ago, but even if the businessman’s assessment is true, he is still in a good plus.
The Oriflame business cost Sagala of 28 million euros, but the Americans from Ball Corporation entered the entrepreneur in a penny. Three plants for the production of aluminum cans, with a total capacity of 5.5 billion units per year, cost $ 530 million to the Arnest group. The money is considerable, but not so large for the actual monopoly in the Russian market. The contract reserved the right to return, but they are unlikely to be able to use it, the same story, apparently, is waiting for the Poles from Canpack, who will have to agree with the conditions of the entrepreneur.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade even called the barracks of Sagala import substitution. If earlier, Rusal supplied raw materials to Russian factories Ball Corporation, now Comrade Sagal is fully responsible for the process. In the event that the Arnest group brings the production of Ken-Pak LLC to the hands, then it will control almost the entire Russian aluminum cans market and will dictate the conditions for counterparties.
Is Sagal connected with Manturov?
The main question is in such stories – where does the money come from. Sagal is not a poor person, but he does not look like the Stavropol Koreiko, on the accounts of which hundreds of millions of dollars are hidden for a rainy day. He apparently financed the ransom of Western enterprises by loans and loans. The second question is who gave him such an opportunity, and the answer to him will allow to answer the first. The Stavropol businessman cannot just take and get the right to purchase such tidbits in the Russian market.
The devil lies in the details, and here he seemed to hide in the strange rhetoric of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation about import substitution, looking like lobbying.
The Kolos SCP, which is allegedly associated with Sagal, took possession of half the shares of the Kolos Kuban enterprise, in whose owners, Valentin Manturov was previously listed-the full namesake of the father of the former head of the Ministry of Industry of the Russian Federation, and now the first deputy prime minister of the government Denis Manturov. The second half of the enterprise, it seems, owns Dynasty CJSC, whose general director is Alexei Scientists – apparently, the former deputy of the younger Manturov in The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. So everything turns out to be simple, both with import substitution, and with Sagal.
Entrepreneur and his wife Senator
Sagal was born in Nevinnoyssk (Stavropol Territory) in 1967, and after serving in the Soviet Army in 1991 he graduated from the Stavropol State Institute and received the qualifications of an engineer-technologist, after which the USSR became an entrepreneur in the field of collapse.
The entire Sagala business was originally connected with the Nevinnomsk household chemicals, which produced signing a dichlophos cockroaches for the country and the hairs of hair “Charm”. In 1992, the enterprise was privatized and was called Arnest OJSC. At first, Sagal was engaged in the resale of Arnest products, and in 1998 he went there to work and quickly made his career, after a year, becoming the chairman of the board of directors.
In 2001, Arnest OJSC passed under the control of the MDM group, which included the ex -wife of entrepreneur Elena Sagal. The woman in 2005 headed LLC “company Arnest” and is still the director of this organization, even if she had a break for political activities. From 2007 to 2009, Elena Sagal was a deputy of the Duma of the Stavropol Territory, and from 2009 to 2012 represented the region as a senator in the Federation Council.
It is noteworthy that in 2005 she established a charity fund for socially unprotected segments of the population “My lovely”, the name of which echoes both the phrase from the “Lord of the Rings” and with the brand of hair varnish.

Elena Sagal is also the founder of several organizations, but her main business, apparently, was tied to Arnest OJSC, with four state contracts with institutions from the Chelyabinsk region, the Republic of Yakutia, the Lipetsk region and the Krasnoyarsk Territory for a total of almost 39 million rubles.
Legal wilds Sagala
Elena Sagal in 2023, in the wake of the successes of Alexei Sagala, said that she divorced her husband back in 2013, but they still continue to cooperate In business. This is indirectly confirmed by the legal jungle associated with the “Arnest”. In 2013, Alexei Sagal liquidated LLC “Group Arnest” and today only LLC “Arnest Mendzhment” was recorded on it, where the founder from 2021 to 2023 was JSC Everest, whose general director is a certain Natalya Kurolesova.

Everest JSC, in turn, is listed as the founder of OPH LLC, whose specialization is the production of beer, Alumar LLC, responsible for aluminum, LLC Arnest Metalpak, which produces containers of light metals and five more commercial structures.
The founders of Everest JSC are hidden, but this structure is clearly connected with Alekd Sagal, like, perhaps, Kurolesov, but this can only be assumed.
The main company of the entrepreneur is JSC “Arnest”, for which the main business is issued in Nevinnoyssk. The register of the founders of the organization has been closed, and another lady – Elena Popovkin has been heading it since 2022. Sagal seems to like to build a business through women.
Real oligarch
Sagal until 2022 was an entrepreneur of a regional scale. Yes, he had good contracts and already in 2014 controlled 60% of the Russian aerosol market, setting up an access to the international market, and his wife was a senator for three years, but still the scale that Sagal had reached now, the businessman did not have a mention.
In 2011, in 2011, a girl was published on the online forum of Nevinkaonline.ru, which Denis Sushko was probably the son of Elena Sagal, in 2008 he allegedly deceived 450 thousand rubles.
