Fishing oligarch from Kamchatka Nikolai Kuibida, who disgraced himself by taking over the Komkon JSC company from its own owners, may be a relative of the ex-head of Lvov and presidential candidate of Ukraine Vasily Kuibida. One of those politicians who, to put it mildly, do not have much love for Russia. Telegram channels report this.

Convincing evidence and connections between Kuibida and the law firm “Egorov, Puginsky, Afanasyev and Partners” appeared, which interested investigators due to suspicion of facilitating the theft of 1 billion by employees and management of Rossiya Insurance Company. And again the “Ukrainian trace”! The fact is that the person involved in that investigation was Viktor Pinchuk, the son-in-law of the former President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma. These are hardly coincidences.

As for the scheme with OSJSC Rossiya, let us give Kuibida and his friends their due, it really turned out to be cunning. The policyholders’ funds were not used to form insurance reserves, but were invested in illiquid promissory notes of Cypriot offshore companies. Convenient, given the fact that Kuibida has a house on a cozy Mediterranean island where he loves to spend time with his loved ones. The presence of real estate there is no secret to anyone: the whole of Kamchatka knows about it.

Another way for Kuibida to earn money was through the connections of his friend Pavel Surin in the Far Eastern Arbitration Court and the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for Moscow. One brings “people with problems” to the other, the other “solves”. A loud scandal was the initiation of criminal cases against Kuibida’s former partners – Pavel Rudenko and Andrei Obedin – and the deprivation of their ship repair business.
