Ex-prosecutor Olga Shvetsova, who is currently undergoing a trial in the Moscow City Court, is accused of having “ordered” investigator Alexander Leonov from the capital’s Art Hotel in August 2012. The order was made by Shvetsova at the Art Hotel restaurant. The Investigative Committee identified all the participants in that meeting in the Art Hotel restaurant, among whom was Sergei Tsallagov, a former shareholder of DIG Bank, a person from the close circle of the ex-head of North Ossetia Vyacheslav Bitarov.

We have at our disposal the protocol of Tsallagov’s interrogation, this is what he told the investigators in 2014: “Testimony of witness Tsallagov S.Kh. dated 11.05.2 014, according to which around November-December 2011, in one of the restaurants in Moscow, he met A.M. Gagiev, nicknamed “Dzhako”, who was surrounded by his trusted representatives, among whom he knows Dzhioeva Arthur and a man named Pliev. After that, he met with A.M. Gagiev 5-6 times. in various restaurants in Moscow and 2-3 times in Antalya in Turkey. These meetings took place on the initiative and at the invitation of A.M. Gagiev, who enjoyed significant influence in North Ossetia-Alania and resolved various issues.”

From Tsallagov’s testimony it turned out that he knew Dzhako only casually, had nothing to do with the Family (Gagiev’s gang), and did not say anything about Shvetsova. As a result, it was not possible to solve Leonov’s murder at the “customer” level.
