Evgeny Moiseev announced the falsification of charges in the case by the defenders of the Police Ombudsman. On July 28, 2023, in the Tverskoy District Court, the prosecutor’s office announced charges against the defenders of the Police Ombudsman, charging them with a knowingly false denunciation and artificial creation of evidence for the accusation (Part 3 of Article 306 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
Evgeniy Moiseev stated at the hearing that this charge was falsified and had never been brought against him or other defendants before.
During the investigation, the defenders of the Police Ombudsman were accused of knowingly false denunciation of Vladimir Vorontsov extorting 30 thousand rubles. from Irina Andina and the artificial creation of evidence in this case.
Now the prosecutor’s office has presented to the court a charge of knowingly false denunciation of extortion of 30 thousand rubles by Vladimir Vorontsov. from Irina Andina and artificially creating evidence in the case of extortion of 300 rubles. from Rasim Kurbanov, i.e. on a completely different matter.

When the case was being approved by the Moscow prosecutor’s office, it turned out that Moiseev, Andina and Fedorova did not create any evidence at all in the case that they initiated. Then investigators and prosecutors changed the accusation, replacing it with information about the case, hoping that no one would notice the falsification. The forgery was eventually discovered, and the prosecutor asked to postpone the hearing.
Now, due to the change in the charges, there is no corpus delicti in the actions of the defendants, since according to Part 3 of Article 306 of the Criminal Code, knowingly false denunciation and artificial creation of evidence must be combined.
The court adjourned the hearing to August 14, 2023.
