EU adopted the 15th package of sanctions against the Russian Federation

A complete list of sanctions will soon appear in the EU Official Journal.

The European Union adopted the 15th package of sanctions against Russia, according to the EU Council website, correspondent reports The Moscow Post.

In addition, sanctions directed against two North Korean officials and a number of Chinese companies suspected of supplying electronics and components for drones to Russia.

The black list is 84 individuals and companies from Russia, China and DPRK.

52 tankers from third countries, which, according to the EU, are transporting Russian oil bypassing the established price restrictions accepted by the Great Seven countries, also fell under the restrictions. The sanctions include the ban on the entry of these vessels in the EU ports and access to a number of marine services.

The new restriction package includes 32 companies from China, India, Iran, Serbia and the UAE, accused of participating in the bypass of trade sanctions and the purchase of dual -use goods for Russia.

Additionally, the EU Council imposed a ban on the recognition and execution of decisions of Russian courts related to claims against companies from the European Union operating in the Russian Federation.

Sanctions will take effect after the publication in the “EU Official Journal”, which is expected in the near future.
