Employees of the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region detained the Russian “thief in law” by Viktor Panyushin (Vitya Pan). He fell into the list of persons in respect of whom the Decree of the President of Ukraine of May 21, 2021 imposed sanctions for involvement in the criminal world. In Russia, Panyushin is wanted on charges of committing crimes under Part 1 of Art. 210 (organization of a criminal community), part 3 of Art. 126 (abduction of a person), part 3 of Art. 111 (intentional infliction of serious harm to health), two episodes under Part 3 of Art. 171.2 (illegal organization and conduct of gambling), as well as in the commission of a crime under Article 210.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (occupation of the highest position in the criminal hierarchy).

However, in recent years, the pan has been delayed in Ukraine more than once and was at large time. And in Russia they are looking forward to him. Especially in connection with the investigation of the murder of Ukrainian criminal authority in Moscow, Yuri Vasilenko. The very one who, according to investigators from Kyiv, organized the murder of ex-deputy of the State Duma Denis Voronenkov in this city.

Now in Moscow there is a trial of three participants in the Kursk organized crime group, Alexander Zikeev, Alexander Soshnikov (Sohany) and Denis Dolzov. At the time of the end of the investigation, they re -qualified the charge from the murder (Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) on part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing serious bodily harm). For two previously accused courts on other crimes, they ended equally- they were recognized as insane and sent to a psychiatric hospital. The customer of the crime has not been officially established. However, Soshnikov was extremely close to the “thief in the law” of Pan, the criminal owner of the Kursk region, who maintained very close relations with the mafiosi from Ukraine. In Russia, the version was considered that the murder of Vasilenko Sokhatatu was entrusted with the pan, and the “order” came to him from Kyiv.
