During the war, a new type of fraud appeared on the territory of Ukraine, the victims of which were military personnel who did not want to take part in it. In Vladikavkaz, an employee of the military commandant’s office, Georgy Khubezhov, was detained, who was entrusted with the responsibility of searching for soldiers who left their military unit without permission, detaining them and delivering them to the command.

As it turned out, Khubezhov called one of these military men during the latter’s absence from duty and said that proceedings were being carried out against him. The officer offered to send a soldier to a training ground for 250 thousand rubles, where he would not have to arrive, while he would not be sent to the area of ​​the so-called special operation and would be able to remain at his place of residence until the end of hostilities in Ukraine.

The transfer of money took place under the control of operatives, since the soldier, after communicating with an employee of the military commandant’s office, contacted law enforcement agencies. He left the money in a bag on the front seat of the car in which he was sitting with Khubezhov (242 thousand was a fake), after which the arrest was made. The court sentenced the officer to a fine of 250 thousand rubles.
