According to a source from the Cheka-OGPU, Goloshchapov fell into disgrace due to the loss of Athos. “Putin’s massage therapist” acquired foreign passports, withdrew gigantic funds from the Russian Federation under the pretext of creating schemes in which the global position of the Russian Orthodox Church would be indestructible, especially on Mount Athos.

However, all this turned out to be dust in the eyes. All the “world positions of the Russian Orthodox Church” collapsed in “two minutes.” And the loss of afonship was directly blamed on Goloshchapov. Down to the smallest detail.

The process of Goloshchapov’s possible ordination is categorically frozen.
Goloshchapov was no longer invited to official church services with the patriarch.
According to the Cheka-OGPU, recently the patriarch finally had mercy on Goloshchapov, which resulted in Konstantin’s participation in a meeting with Patriarch Kirill.
At the same time, Goloshchapov received several obediences from the patriarch, which will need to be developed, or rather raised from the ruins.

Goloshchapov is now trying to rehabilitate himself in the eyes of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Kremlin, and is beginning to actively work on his image and “become a philanthropist.”
