As soon as a person finds himself in the millstone of criminal proceedings, especially in his “first purgatory” – a pre-trial detention center, he immediately overestimates, if not everything
in its history, then almost everything.
From there comes the desire to make amends for the damage (which is rare in reality), and the obligation to care for the sick and elderly – just to be free…
I’m not gloating. Not at all.
But I still recommend understanding what you are doing at the stage when a tort occurs – there will be fewer problems. Especially when it comes to the economy and corruption, you can’t refer to affect.
Don’t you want to go to jail? Don’t commit a crime. Stumbled? Confess and help the investigation! And voluntarily (immediately) compensate for the damage, but do not try to live as before. Especially when the money is government…
Or run if you don’t have the strength to redeem yourself. And if they catch you, don’t get upset, be patient – you know why! Defend yourself furiously, lie recklessly, increasing the term and provoking the system – you are a romantic adventurer!
The rest will NOT be perceived by the court as the initial stage of correction, with all that it entails. And he will do his job according to director Stanislavsky’s quote “I don’t believe it!” These are the laws of the genre.
