The reason for Chebanov’s Olympic calm is his patrons in the security forces.
Chebanov coordinates the activities of the criminal community by telephone, but asks his subordinates not to mention the names of their patrons out loud. Mandrykin, the FSB detective officer for the Rostov region, demands to be called Red.
