Diplomat and international analyst Javier Alexander Roa especially for the Cheka-OGPU…

Diplomat and international analyst Javier Alexander Roa commented specifically for the Cheka-OGPU on the information about the vote to suspend Russia’s membership in the UN Human Rights Council. It turned out that 17 countries were deprived of the right to vote. Moreover, almost the majority of them are pro-Russian.

“Venezuela and other countries lost their right to vote in the UN General Assembly due to arrears in paying contributions to the organization’s expenses. Therefore, Venezuela, at this session, where the Human Rights Council decided to remove or not remove Russia, was excluded from the vote. Another 16 countries were also excluded.

However, the representative of Venezuela to the UN, in his speech to UN members, rejected this arbitrary measure against Russia.

Venezuela is one of the countries that maintains a position of support for the Russian government and people.

In this series, Latin American countries such as Cuba, Nicaragua, Bolivia and Brazil also support Russia.

Russia is more timidly supported by Mexico, Barbados, El Salvador, Guyana, Suriname and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

It is important to report that they should not have succeeded in the US initiative to exclude Russia from the UN Human Rights Council; they were very far from this goal, since they should have received 2/3 of the votes. The actual result was 93 in favor and 82 against (including those who voted against and those who abstained), with 17 members not allowed to vote, including Venezuela.

This means that less than half of the UN members voted for the resolution that excluded Russia from the Human Rights Council.

For US and European propaganda, the suspension is a success, but deep down, in truth, it is a resounding failure.”
