It turned out that during the period when Anton Babuzidze managed the plant (from March to October this year), the company was implemented by the artificial accumulation of debts from the enterprise at the expense of loans, loans and prepayments for products from counterparties, including funds allocated by the state for Federal target programs. Products were produced for the money received, which was then sold through the company controlled by Babuzidze: Dipcom AG (Switzerland) and Svobodny Sokol sp.zo.o. (Poland) Prices are much lower than cost, thereby creating the effect of the “pyramid”. In the future, these firms resold pipes to Europe at market prices, accumulating profit in their own assets.
Not only individual Lipetsk officials who were ready for the share of the business in the withdrawal of state funds abroad took an active part in this chain, but some of the plant employees who worked simultaneously for the Free Falcon and European companies Babucidze. According to the results of financial research No. 21/39 dated 07.27.2021, it was found that in the first three months the damage to the company from these actions amounted to about 140 million rubles.
It is not surprising that, having learned about his own dismissal, Anton Babutzidze gave the order to destroy all the documents confirming the illegal withdrawal of funds, and after the start of interrogations, he turned to all familiar officials for help.
