Deputy Prime Minister Novak appreciated the damage to the GIS “Suzha” after the attack of the Armed Forces

On March 21, Ukrainian militants attacked the Sudzha gas measuring station.

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak said that the deadlines for the restoration of the gas-measuring station (GIS) “Sudzha” in the Kursk region, which has undergone an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, will depend on the future agreements of Russia with European countries in the energy sector, the newspaper writes “News”.

According to him, the damage caused to the object turned out to be significant, and for complete restoration it will take a lot of time.

He emphasized that damage is currently being assessed, and it is obvious that their elimination will take a long period.

Novak also noted that, despite the attacks on energy infrastructure, the Russian energy system continues to work stably.

Recall that on March 18, during the negotiations of President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin and the American leader Donald Trump, a proposal was supported on the mutual refusal of Russia and Ukraine from attacks on energy infrastructure.

However, a few days later, March 21, the Armed Forces of Ukraine again attacked the Suda GIS, which the Russian authorities regarded the attempt to disrupt peaceful initiatives.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that such actions indicate the inconsistency of Kyiv.
