The murder of Trotsky
Part I
On August 21, 1940, Lev Trotsky died in Mexico, on whom the attempt was made on the eve:

Obviously, he intended to kill Trotsky with his alpanstok, and he kept the revolver in order to then fight back from bodyguards …
Who exactly the person who attacked Trotsky is unknown. He wolled into the trust of Trotsky and his wife. In Coyoacan, he was known as Frank Jackson’s name and surname. They say that this Jackson is from America and that he has an American wife. But in the hospital, where he was a little questioned by the police chief of the general. Nunen, he said that his name is Jacques Van Den Drens, that he was 36 years old, that he was a journalist who was born in Tehran, but brought up in Paris that he was the son of Belgian parents. He also said that he was very devoted to Trotsky and, “would give his life and blood for him.” According to the reports of people close to Trotsky, he and Van Den Dresht have recently quarreled among themselves about the fourth international and issues of Trotskyist policy. According to some, Drenst is Russian, because he is fluent in the Russian language. But he also speaks freely in French. ”

At the same time, Trotsky’s associates immediately stated that the Soviet special services were behind the attempt:
“Albert Goldman, Trotsky’s personal lawyer, said:“ Trotsky killed the GPU agent. We foresaw and predicted this for a long time. On the night of the assassination, I spoke on the phone with Trotsky secretary. He informed me that the killer admitted in Russian that he was sent to the murder of the “owners from the Kremlin.” The killer, according to the lawyer, as if he said the following:
“I had to do it. They threatened to kill my mother if I refuse. ”
