Daur Jenia is not safe from arrest The Tverskoy Court of Moscow arrested in absentia the former director of Capital Reinsurance Daur Jenia, who is on the international wanted list. The former general director of an insurance company that was previously part of the Rosgosstrakh group is accused of abuse of power: as a result of his numerous “reinsurances,” Rosgosstrakh lost liquid assets that were transferred to the companies of its former owner Danil Khachaturov (later transferred by him to Evgeny Giner). As a result, the state-owned company suffered hundreds of millions in damage. 
Arbitration courts are currently considering the claim of Rosgosstrakh against Giner’s insurance company Capital Life, which for a long time used the trademarks of the state company, paying pennies for it compared to their actual value. This also became possible due to the actions of Khachaturov, who, in anticipation of the transfer of the company to the state, through controlled management, ensured the conclusion of profitable deals for himself. Rosgosstrakh believes that the amount of compensation for the use of trademarks is 150 billion rubles.
Schemes to withdraw property from Rosgosstrakh are emerging one after another, so the unlucky reinsurer Jenia is probably not the last to be arrested in this case.
