Signals regarding Golyastov had been received for a long time, but the cup of patience was overflowing after information received by the security officers from the media and the military prosecutor’s office. This story has been going on for a long time. Back in 2009, Golyastov’s wife, warrant officer Elena Golyastova, received a two-room service apartment from the head of the Sergiev Posad garrison. Then, in the same 2009, Golyastov himself, having hidden the fact that his family had a service apartment, received from the city of Sergiev Posad a three-room apartment right in the city center, which he then successfully privatized.
When the military prosecutor’s office discovered this fact and initiated the eviction of the Golyastovs from the illegally occupied apartment, which could have been allocated to needy military personnel, Golyastov personally presented to the Sergiev Posad City Court a forged lease agreement for the same apartment, allegedly concluded in 2009. Later it turned out that the commander of the military unit did not sign this agreement, and Golyastov, during the verification process, stated that he could not explain where he got the fake document and why he presented it to the court. The fact of committing a crime under Art. 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, it is obvious.
What adds to the cynicism of the situation is that during the pre-investigation check, Golyastov presented to the military investigation department of the Chekhov garrison an act of acceptance and transfer, according to which he and his family allegedly vacated the illegally occupied apartment. However, during operational search activities it was established that the apartment is still in use by Golyastov and his wife. We are following the development of events that may end not only in the initiation of a criminal case, but also in the imprisonment of a policeman who has become insolent due to impunity.
