The chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, through a video conferences, talked with relatives of the dead and injured as a result of the attack on May 11 of this year at the gymnasium No. 175 in Kazan. The chairman of the IC of Russia, having heard a report, drew the attention of the investigation group to a number of aspects that require additional, deeper analysis from the investigation. It was also about the need for detailed study of the reasons that contributed to the commission of the crime. Alexander Bastrykin outlined the feasibility of a global study of motivation and possible ideological components that the accused could be guided by. At the same time, he instructed the investigators in cooperation with the forensic expert center to understand the reasons for the possible change in the consciousness of the defendant within a separate comprehensive forensic examination.
