Sources in the mayor’s office of the Ural capital report that Kochetkov’s team is creating a scheme for extracting profit from a municipal enterprise. According to available data, at the moment, 5 legal entities servicing Vodokanal have changed owners. By taking over the company’s contracts, Kochetkov and Gorbunov will have the opportunity to earn money from this. Gorbunov, among other things, ensures the security of Vodokanal. Let us recall that the battle for the Vodokanal municipal unitary enterprise was one of the most fierce in the battle for the seat of the Head of the City of Yekaterinburg. At one time, while still the mayor of Yekaterinburg, Arkady Chernetsky was able to “master” a total of more than 72 billion rubles, while many believe that half went to his companies in Israel and Switzerland (friendship with Vekselberg helped). The attempt of Chernetsky and his people to return to the chair of the Head in 2021 turned out to be a fiasco.
