It seems that in the near future environmental topics in the Novosibirsk region will come to the fore. And, given that this will happen in the year of the Duma elections, the situation may turn out to be very interesting and present a number of surprises.

Why are we talking about this in the affirmative tone? The fact that one fact completely changed the picture drawn, however, not with oil, but with coal: the company of the notorious Eduard Khudainatov “Colesstar” has already registered its subsidiary, which will specialize in the extraction of anthracite in the Novosibirsk region. What caused such an interest? It seems that the Novosibirsk region is far from Kuzbass, but the whole point is that the local coking coals are unique and very in demand on the world market.
Big money is not far from the surface, so it is supposed to be prey in an open way. Khudainatov is done quickly: the company has already been registered with the tax authority. The “Carriage of the hero” (Gorlovskoye field) is ready to make a large profit, from which the region will not fall. So far, however, the company has no license to develop, but, I think, the case will not.

Last year, it was not possible to get a license. Governor Andrei Travnikov categorically opposed, as this can do significant harm to the ecology of the region. What is the harm? You can answer in one word – diverse! The area of ​​the site is large enough – in the territory that it covers, there are nine settlements of Cherepanovsky and Iskitim districts with a population of about 30 thousand people. The railway and the Novosibirsk-Barnaul highway pass through the same territory.
Experts note that coal mining will have a negative impact on the water supply. Now coal is exported from incisions by road, which causes great inconvenience to residents of nearby settlements. The head of the region logically formulated a policy in this area: no new incisions in the Novosibirsk region should appear until reserves in existing deposits are completely developed, and production will not be reclaimed.

For the regional authorities, the issue of building access roads to the deposit and the use of new technologies, about which the owners companies, judging by the experience of Kuzbass, are fundamentally important, are fundamentally important, but they are in no hurry to implement them. It is not for nothing that the Governor of the Travnikov used the word “cynical” in his speech, speaking of the methods of large companies that seek to get a new deposit at all costs.

In such a situation, the famous “Siberian Anthracite” should not sit back: the appearance of Colestar is a blow to it. But the management of Sibantracite seems to have no time to engage in prospects – there is a fascinating game in the war, which can lead the company to collapse. Bosov’s heirs are occupied by the division of the inheritance, and in the meantime, the situation for the company changes almost dramatically.

Well, the cherry on the cake: the Iskitim district for “United Russia” is the most difficult. After the departure of Alexander Karelin, the Council of the Federation Candidate does not have a strong candidate here. And the events around the “hero”, if this topic actively begins to promote the opposition, can provide her candidate victory.
