The Central Bank of Russia recently published data on the amount of funds sent by individuals through systems of money transfers from the Russian Federation. In June 2021 alone, the CIS countries took 720 million dollars !!! According to the calculations of the market participants, it turns out that in the first quarter of 2021, migrant workers sent their families on average 48 thousand rubles a month. Over the year, this amount increased by 15 thousand rubles – in the first quarter of last year, the amount of the monthly transfer was 33 thousand rubles.
According to the official figures of Rosstat, the median average monthly salary in the Russian economy was estimated at 32,422 rubles. In any case, this is quite comparable to the amounts of transfers of migrant workers. Especially if you take into account that they are not transferring the entire salary-here you also need to exist for something.
The fact that in many professions migrant workers have long been received by experts for a long time for Russians. This is also confirmed by money transfer services.
The most interesting here is the high growth of income of labor migrants, which have grown 1.5 times (from 33 to 48 thousand) in a short period. And what happens to the income of the indigenous population, that is, with the income of the citizens of our country, which, as officials tell us “does not want to work for food.”
Rosstat shows that the real income of Russians grew over the same time, only 6.8% in annual terms.
A completely amazing picture. The “cheap labor” has ceased to be cheap for a long time, what made employers increase their salary migrants seriously? Moreover, increase strongly, not to scanty interest. All this happened with migrants, which, as it is believed, cannot defend their rights.
