At the Gazprom private airfield under construction in the St. Petersburg suburb of Levashovo, concrete was stolen directly from the runway! As colleagues from the Fox editorial office reported, on January 31, the economic police of the St. Petersburg Main Directorate conducted a series of searches at the contractors for the construction of the Levashovo airfield. A criminal case was initiated by Sloyedkom under Part 4 of Article 159 – especially large-scale fraud, and it concerns the theft of concrete worth 30 million rubles. directly from the runway, on which in the future planes of the top officials of the state will land. The Cheka-OGPU will complement its colleagues and tell you the details.
So, the criminal group included about ten people who managed several legal entities, such as the Moscow JSC Geokarton, the St. Petersburg PC Stroyprodukt and the Moscow Region ADS LLC. The head of the group is considered to be the head of the logistics department of SMT No. 11 LLC, Stanislav Nagai. The criminals bribed employees of the contractor accepting construction materials at the Gazprom facility, and over and over again drove an empty concrete mixer to the airfield, noting in the documents the acceptance of the full transport. Thus, more than 30 million rubles worth of concrete was not poured into the runway cover. One can imagine what would have happened if the strip, which did not have the proper strength, began to fall apart under the chassis of a heavy Boeing 737, which, among other things, the Levashovo airfield plans to receive!
The theft was discovered by Gazprom employees themselves, after which a statement was made to the police. Currently, in addition to the Criminal Code under 159.4, another criminal case has been opened under Part 7 of Article 204 of the Criminal Code – especially large-scale commercial bribery. The fact is that the criminal group agreed to work with other suppliers of building materials only in exchange for substantial kickbacks.
On February 2, Stanislav Nagai was sent to a pre-trial detention center by the Vyborg District Court of St. Petersburg until March 31. The preventive measure for another of his closest accomplices is defined as a ban on certain actions.
The remaining participants in the criminal scheme were released on their own recognizance.
