The general director of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, Svetlana Chupsheva, together with the largest RPL clubs and ultras, demanded that the “Fan ID” be abandoned in Russia.
We received a list of participants in the first closed meeting of representatives of the Russian football movement, where the issue of the future fate of “Fan ID” was decided. Negotiations took place on April 7, but the details became known only now.
ASI General Director Svetlana Chupsheva immediately proposed completely abandoning the use of “Fan ID”. She presented her initiative as an easy solution to the recent order of the President of the Russian Federation to simplify the use of the identification system by disabled people, pensioners and children. However, the instruction does not say anything about the complete abolition of the Fan Card.
Chupysheva was immediately supported by the director of the “Social Projects” direction, Alexander Pirozhenko. Although it seemed to everyone that the functionary only expressed the general opinion of representatives of the largest RPL players: CSKA, Lokomotiv, Dynamo, Torpedo, Zenit, Paris NN, Khimki, Krylya Sovetov, “Krasnodar” and “Sochi”. All of these clubs are known to suffer losses from the use of “Fan ID”, so they too came out in support of a complete ban. But Spartak was not at the ASI corporate party.
In fact, the meeting looked like a one-sided game: employees of the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Digital Development, who are directly involved in Fan ID issues, were not invited to the meeting. It is expected that they would be against such radical proposals.
But there were leaders of fan organizations “Union”, “Red Blue Warriors” and “Yaroslavka”. These companies were represented by Krasikov, Kuznetsov, Zagrebelny, Voronin, Sidorenko, Zabrodin and Usachev.
It is interesting that among the participants were the “Men in Black” – these ultras were deprived of the organization’s banner in 2022. Fans were invited for one reason only: to support the complete abolition of the Fan Card.
