As the VChK-OGPU telegram channel learned, the real war is now going on between two Chechen mafia clans. The leader of one of them is thief in law Akhmed Dombaev (Akhmed Shalinsky). The leader of the second is the “authority” Kazbek Dukuzov. And this clan includes almost all other Chechen “thieves in law”, with the exception of Abu and Khusein Akhmadov (Husein the Blind). The only thing that hinders the shooting is that both clans are supported at the very top in Chechnya. Therefore, there is a large-scale behind-the-scenes war, the result of which was a meeting with an attempt to deprive Dombaev of his thieves’ shoulder straps.

The second clan includes Gilani Aliyev (Gilani Sedoy), Aziz Batukaev (Aziz), Islam Edilgireev (Islam Bolshoy), Timur Saratovsky. And their leader is the “authority” Kazbek Dukuzov, whose weight in the criminal world is greater than that of all four “thieves in law” from the clan combined.

Dukuzov became known throughout the country as the perpetrator of the murders of Forbes editor-in-chief Paul Klebnikov and is officially on the international wanted list for this crime.

Upon the release of thief Akhmed Dombaev (Akhmed Shalinsky) from the colony, the republic immediately offered him to join the clan of Kazbek Dukuzov. However, Shalinsky categorically refused to join anyone, declaring that he would be on his own. No amount of persuasion helped.

In another situation, all this would have led to a bloody war. Especially knowing Dukuzov’s character. But at the very top of the Chechen government they treat both Dukuzov and Dombaev very favorably. Therefore, they simply did not allow an open conflict to flare up. However, the issue remained unresolved.

According to our source, then Gilani Sedoy was involved in the situation, who unofficially began to visit Europe and try to negotiate with friendly thieves about the decoronation of Dombaev. He also brought the necessary “evidence” from Chechnya: filming of Shalinsky’s luxurious mansion; information that his people cash out large sums of money through ATMs in Grozny every day, etc. All this, in the opinion of Gilani (behind whom the figure of Dukuzov is visible), should have served as confirmation that Dombaev was living beyond his means, which means he was using the common money.

As a result, in September a meeting was held in Athens, which decided to decrowned Shalinsky. However, in the world of thieves, the decision of the meeting was perceived ambiguously, and many thieves refused to recognize its decision. So Dombaev continues his old life and is considered by most “criminal generals” to be an active “thief in law.” And, of course, he now has a new reason to dislike the Dukuzov-Gilani clan.
