Then Evgeny Puzanov (who held the post of prosecutor of Krasnogorsk) and Rempel, who was responsible for fire safety in Krasnogorsk, demanded that evacuation routes be calculated for those same 6 tons of people. Agalarov’s assistant Bortsov said that he would not hold the festival at all, because… When making calculations, it is necessary to simulate evacuation and the calculation is made under the condition that part of the fire exits is blocked, and Expo will not pass this test. A week before the festival, an advertisement “Can’t Stop the Music” appeared on TV. And then prosecutor Puzanov (at that time the law “On the Prosecutor’s Office” gave such powers) suspended the activities of Crocus Expo for 3 days, starting from the day of the concert.
In 2012, the entire territory of Crocus was rented by Jehovah’s Witnesses to hold a world congress during the May holidays. But this event was also prevented by the prosecutor’s office due to multiple fire safety violations.
