As the Cheka-OGPU learned, the story of the resignation of the deputy head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow, Igor Zinoviev, received an unexpected continuation. He submitted it back in April, but the application has not yet been signed. According to the source, this is due to large-scale measures against punchers from the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which the Cheka-OGPU was the first to write about. It is already clear that the sale of “closed” information for money was widespread in the capital’s police and someone should be responsible from the leadership of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Zinoviev was assigned to such a role, so the decision on him was postponed until the end of all events regarding punchers. It would be good if Zinoviev was escorted out with a “black mark.” The source says it may even come down to charges.
This is the second unpleasant story for Zinoviev recently.
Zinoviev is the last of four generals of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, with whom God Nisanov was offended and who still remained in office.
