As the Cheka-OGPU learned, the Ministry of Defense decided to strictly and strictly punish the Serbian volunteers who turned to Putin and stated that they were treated like “cattle” in the Ministry of Defense units. Their transfer to Akhmat was cut off, they were sent to the places of the hottest battles, and the prosecutor’s office began an investigation that could lead to a criminal case. Berich’s status as a member of “Putin’s team” did not help.

As the source said, Serbian volunteers of the 106th division of the 119th airborne regiment were denied transfer to Akhmat under the guise that this was impossible during the verification activities of the military prosecutor’s office, launched due to a public appeal from Putin’s confidant Dejan Beric. At the same time, it was decided to redistribute the Serbs into separate companies of the regiment, some of which were sent to the line of combat contact. Earlier, Dejan Beric assured his fellow countrymen that on the eve of the New Year holidays he successfully agreed with Ramzan Kadyrov on the transfer of all Serbs to Akhmat, which was also facilitated personally by Apti Alaudinov. As a result, the Ministry of Defense refused Kadyrov with the wording that any public extortion and provocations against the leadership of the military department “must be suppressed and given a well-deserved punishment.” The military prosecutor’s office has been tasked with rendering a verdict according to which the Serbs will remain guilty of the incident as “refuseniks” and provocateurs.
