Testimony against Gallyamov was given by the deputy head of the Central Customs Administration of the Federal Customs Service of Russia – the head of the federal customs revenue service, Alexander Beglov. General Beglov has been charged with mediation in this episode. Beglov and other customs officers were arrested in March 2023 on charges of accepting bribes. According to the Cheka-OGPU, on May 26, 2023, the prosecutor entered into a pre-trial cooperation agreement with Beglov; within the framework of the agreement, the general revealed new episodes.
One of the evidence in the Gallyamov episode is the seizure of documentation on changes to the customs declarations of North Wind LLC. This legal entity belongs to Nordwind Airlines, which is based at Sheremetyevo Airport.
On the official website, the head of Sheremetyevo customs has 7 deputies and one first, but none of them have the prefix acting. The last to be appointed to the position of deputy was Lieutenant Colonel Tatyana Pankratyeva; she heads the legal service of Sheremetyevo customs.
Gallyamov served in customs authorities for 12 years, including Sheremetyevo, then General of the Federal Customs Service Belyaninov appointed him to the Central Customs Service. Gallyamov has already admitted guilt.
