This is not the first such operation by Gubaidulin and his Lubyanka tower. In 2019, they were interfered with by the head of the customs investigation department of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, General Alexander Kizlyk, who was Andrei Belyaninov’s protégé. Gubaidulin was unable to take control of the administration headed by Kizlyk for more than a year. As a result, Kizlyk was detained by the Russian FSB.
Gubaidulin took an active part in the development and imprisonment of the former head of the GUEBiPK of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Denis Sugrobov and members of his team. Because of this, he had enormous problems obtaining the rank of general. Gubaidulin’s candidacy was blocked by presidential aide Evgeny Shkolov and another presidential aide Konstantin Chuychenko. Both were close to Sugrobov and left their posts in 2018. Shkolov was replaced in the position of “personnel cardinal” by FSB General Anatoly Seryshev, who was previously the deputy head of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation. And it was Gubaidulin who came to replace Seryshev in the Federal Customs Service.
