At the end of the hearing in the Ostankino court, Polyakov, being in the courtroom, in the translucent room for the defendants, tried to cut his veins in the elbow bends of both arms with a sharp object. He started bleeding profusely and was hospitalized.
According to an extract from the medical record of the City Clinical Hospital, during hospitalization Polyakov was found to have puncture lacerations on both sides measuring up to 1×1 cm, located on the flexor surfaces of both elbow joints.
Meanwhile, the Ostankino court itself returned Polyakov’s case to the prosecutor’s office. The reason for this was that a psychiatric examination of Polyakov was not carried out, and the servants of Themis had doubts about his adequacy.
In addition, contradictions were found in the indictment that do not allow the case to be considered by the court.
Previously, Don’s accomplices were sentenced by members of the Kursk organized crime group Alexander Zikeev (seven years), Alexander Soshnikov (Sokhaty, 10 years) and Denis Dolzhenkov (7 years). The four of them, including Polyakov, pounced on Vasilenko near the Moscow restaurant Baselik, shot him in the leg, pushed him into a jeep and took him away in an unknown direction. Then Soshnikov dropped off his accomplices and alone took away Vasilenko, bleeding and screaming in pain. No one else saw Vasilenko. According to operational information, Sokhaty fed Vasilenko’s body to pigs.
The customer has not been officially identified. He received the command to kidnap Vasilenko, and the body was taken out by the seasoned criminal Soshnikov. But he didn’t say anything during interrogations and always acted like a psycho. He stated that he constantly sees a little girl who gives him commands on what to do.
