As the Cheka-OGPU learned, a huge scandal is unfolding around the decision to grant parole to the former Minister of Economic Development Alexei Ulyukaev. As a source of the Cheka-OGPU said, shortly before submitting a petition to the court for parole, which ended positively for Ulyukaev, he went to the administrative commission of IK-1, at which he did not receive support from the colony. Moreover, by that time he had added two more violations and the administration of the institution recommended that he not apply. The application was withdrawn from consideration by the commission.

And then, unexpectedly, contrary to the recommendations of the colony, Ulyukaev’s lawyers go to court with a petition. At this time, he has several active violations. After the court accepted the lawyers’ petition for consideration, the administration of the penal colony suddenly and unexpectedly held an unscheduled administrative commission, at which it provided support to the convicted Ulyukaev (in case of existing violations!!!).
