Supervisory agencies report on the localization of foci of a dangerous disease. But, according to the source, over the past 24 hours the number of people hospitalized with a confirmed diagnosis or suspected of meningococcal infection has increased by a third. As of December 3, a total of 61 people were hospitalized, including 17 children, all under 10 years of age.

Let us remind you that the first patients with meningitis were officially identified on the morning of November 25 in a dormitory in the workers’ village of Nakhabino, near Krasnogorsk. The warehouse employees of the Ozone marketplace live there. On the same day, a permanent mask regime was reintroduced for doctors. And the company stated that it had treated the warehouses and there was no danger.

But, as the Cheka-OGPU learned, the first wave of the disease occurred in early October, but the emergency was silenced. 42-year-old Olga Savenok, who worked at the once-burning Ozone warehouse, died of meningitis. The widower said that, according to his wife, back in October, workers fell ill in droves and suffered a difficult illness. But even after the diagnosis was confirmed for some (for example, Olga), the management did not take any measures. In connection with the loss, the company made a one-time funeral payment – only 6 thousand 200 rubles and that’s all.
