As the Cheka-OGPU found out, the scandals that began at the Moscow Art Theater after Kekhman’s appearance have not subsided to this day. Everyone is hearing: massive layoffs of employees, sudden renovation of the theater building at the height of the season, refusal of the board of trustees to cooperate with the theater and its financing. Now Kekhman voluptuously describes the new large-scale renovation, which will begin in January. Therefore, those who want to remember the Moscow Art Theater as it is, go and take a photo before it’s too late. And St. Petersburg residents need to guard the new site of the Cultural Forum – the Main Headquarters of the Hermitage. According to our information, Kekhman has already approached her.

The odious businessman is again leading the Cultural Forum, which will be held in St. Petersburg on November 16-18.
This is the same case when a person does not burn in fire and does not drown in water. Having started selling bananas back in the 90s, in 2007, a graduate of the Samara Faculty of Foreign Languages suddenly became the director of the Mikhailovsky Opera and Ballet Theater in St. Petersburg. Three years later, on his merchant ship, which arrived in the Northern capital from Ecuador, law enforcement officers found almost 120 kg of drugs in containers with bananas. However, Kekhman managed to prove his innocence in this illegal act, and two years later he headed the directorate of the Cultural Forum for the first time.

In 2014, Vladimir Abramovich found himself under investigation for fraud on an especially large scale. After some time, it was reclassified as illegally obtaining loans and was successfully closed due to the expiration of the statute of limitations. Despite all these circumstances, Kekhman was not only not fired, but was given even more influence in the theater field. In 2015-2021 he managed the Novosibirsk State Opera and Ballet Theater, while remaining artistic director of the Mikhailovsky Theater in St. Petersburg.

Local theatergoers were not delighted with Kekhman’s innovations. Thus, the unsightly illegal reconstruction of the facade upset Novosibirsk residents so much that they collectively complained about it. Kekhman had to pay a fine of 100 thousand rubles, which, given the rumors about his connections with the construction company RSK-Renaissance LLC, which carried out the work, was probably a drop in the bucket. There was also an embarrassment with the local authorities when, on the day of the premiere of his Don Quixote, officials “meanly” decided to organize a concert. Of course, Kekhman could not predict that this could happen on the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow on June 22. Therefore, after going through all stages of acceptance, he gave an offended tirade and postponed the premiere of the play. However, evil tongues then stated that it was not the authorities who were to blame for the postponement, but unsold tickets.
