Residents of several large cities in the Moscow region are experiencing serious heating shortages in their apartments, kindergartens and schools these winter days.
A state of emergency has been introduced in Elektrostal due to poor performance of the boiler house. Several areas in Sergiev Posad are freezing. Residents of Solnechnogorsk recorded a video message addressed to the President of Russia complaining about the lack of heating and hot water in their homes. At the same time, hot water supply services are listed as provided in utility bills.
Now they have been joined by Khimki near Moscow, the Yubileiny microdistrict, it is located where the Grand furniture center is located and more than 40 thousand people live here. One of the boiler houses on Lavochkina failed, which caused a shutdown of heating and hot water in several apartment buildings. In many Khimki apartments today the temperature does not rise above 16-17 degrees, people warm themselves with electrical appliances and gas stoves. And this is very close to Moscow. There is no hope for improvement. A source from the Cheka-OGPU confirmed that this problem was predicted this summer, but due to the lack of money, which almost all was spent on military needs, it was not possible to carry out scheduled repairs and maintenance of most boiler houses. Moreover, an acute personnel shortage of qualified workers arose; many hard workers were called up for mobilization according to the order; there was no one to work.
Due to financial difficulties, they are saving on gas and fuel and lubricants, of which there is also an acute shortage. Winter has just begun, but there is still no improvement in heating in the Moscow region.
