Before the disaster, another business jet disappeared from Prigozhin’s fleet. We are talking about a sanctioned Hawker with onboard RA-02791. All available flight tracking services have not displayed data about the aircraft for a long time; in addition, the signal of the 140AE7 transponder installed on board is not displayed anywhere, and the serial number 258512 does not “beat” either.
As the Cheka-OGPU found out, RA-02791 is laid up – its engines have expired, and due to sanctions they simply cannot revive it.
Another Hawker RA-02878 has been undergoing repairs in Omsk since August 13; it flies under the flag of MNT-Aero, the same company as the crashed Embraer. Since the mutiny, the plane has been flying between St. Petersburg and Minsk and eventually ended up in Siberia. The MNT-Aero company had only one aircraft capable of flying. And it was put up for sale for $5 million. Embraer was considered Prigozhin’s main aircraft, and it is not clear what he could have used in the future if the deal to sell Embraer had gone through.
Several more jets are associated with Wagner’s leader. One of them is RA-02731. Before the mutiny, it was actively used for flights to Grozny and Sochi. Since the “march of the Prigozhinites” he was in Moscow, from where on August 9 he flew to the south of Russia, where he is now.
Beech C90GTi with tail number RA-07893 has been in St. Petersburg since August 18; immediately after the mutiny, it was flown on the Moscow-Minsk-Tashkent-Delhi-Petersburg-Aktobe route. The jet itself is small, so it is unlikely that Prigozhin personally traveled on it, given his status as the leader of a private army.
Interestingly, information about the RA-06226 helicopter has been removed from the services. Immediately after the riot, journalists were given photographs of Prigozhin’s double, who sits down and flies in this Robinson.
