As it became known to the Cheka-OGPU, Alexander Krylov, director of the legal support department of MSTU “STANKIN”, was arrested on charges of especially large-scale fraud (Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) until June 11. The criminal case was initiated on April 11, Krylov was charged on the day of his arrest on April 23. There are also defendants in the case who are charged with giving a bribe on an especially large scale and mediating in bribery. The investigation materials say that Krylov issued the documents necessary for the investigation. His defense asked to choose a preventive measure not related to detention.

The investigation, in turn, insisted that while free, the accused can hide documents that have not yet been confiscated, develop together with other defendants “a common position on counteracting the investigation, put pressure on witnesses and other participants in criminal proceedings who expose him to crimes crimes incriminated, induce them to give false testimony, destroy material evidence that has not been seized at this time, and otherwise interfere with the criminal proceedings.”
