As the Cheka-OGPU learned, two criminal cases have been initiated against the deputy head of the department for work with personnel of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for Moscow, Colonel Pavel Paranosenkov.

He is suspected of forcing him to pay a monthly tribute of 5 thousand rubles for each subordinate of another police officer – the deputy head of technical support and operational response of the Department of Economic Security and Internal Affairs of Moscow, Sharov.

According to investigators, Paranosenkov learned that Sharov was helping his subordinates pass final tests on vocational training and decided to offer him a deal: he would not report anything about Sharov’s activities, and Sharov would pay him 5 thousand rubles every month for each employee. True, the cooperation did not last long; Paranosenkov received about 200 thousand rubles. Cases were initiated under paragraph 5 of Art. 190 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and Part 3 of Art. 190.

claims also arose against Ruslan Ermakov, head of the department for work with personnel of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow. He was even detained and interrogated, but was immediately released and sent on vacation. Ermakov, together with Pavel Paranosenkov, agreed to raise the unofficial tariff for employees passing standards.
