is conducting a pre-investigation check against Yuri Dud and Pavel “Mr. Freeman” Muntean. It is connected with the placement of Legalize’s video “Peace! Yours! Home!” on the YouTube channels of a blogger and popular screenwriter who was previously banned in the Russian Federation.
At the very beginning of Dudya’s interview with rapper Legalize (Andrei Menshikov), a fragment of a song was published where the words “You are looters, thieves, no longer heroes” were heard – on the screen at that time the Russian military turned into orcs, and everything was also accompanied by footage of the bombing of civilian residential areas Ukrainian cities.
Mr. Freeman is the author of the video, and immediately after the release of Dudya’s interview with the rapper, Muntyan reposted it on his Telegram channel and posted the video on his YouTube. At the moment, the video has collected 1.2 million views, Dudya’s interview was watched by 4 million. The likelihood of initiating a case under the now hackneyed Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – dissemination of deliberately false information regarding the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation – is very high.
In August, Roskomnadzor blocked the link with the video “Peace! Yours! Home!” rapper Legalize and Mr. Freeman. Roskomsvoboda drew attention to this.
The blocking was initiated by the Prosecutor General’s Office.
