The statement states that with the arrival of Gevorkyan at the National Medical Research Center of Oncology. N.N. Blokhin, every year from December to March there are delays in so-called incentive payments, which make up the bulk of wages; employees receive a bare salary of 10,000 rubles, while he himself receives a stable 800,000 rubles per month.
Gevorkyan’s subordinates include many “dead souls” who receive salaries, but no one has seen them at work. In this way, Gevorkyan replenishes his already rather large family budget, and also gives bribes to the right people in the Ministry of Health.
Gevorkyan also constantly forces responsible employees to sign Certificates of supposedly completed work for contractors on telemedicine and unified medical information system projects. Not only is the cost there prohibitively inflated, but this work is also carried out by the cancer center’s employees; the contractors only receive payment.
As the Cheka-OGPU has already reported, Tigran Gevorkyan is a protégé of the Tashir group of companies, which includes Tashir Medica. His wife’s relatives occupy positions of top managers in the Tashir Group of Companies and are actively promoting him to leadership positions in large federal medical centers of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
Gevorkyan also built “interaction” with another major player in the Russian medical business – the European Medical Center, which is actively promoting its EMC Oncology Institute in the private medicine market. In 2019, Gevorkyan’s wife got a job at EMC without any experience in medicine. In other words, this is EMC’s “gratitude” for Gevorkyan’s efforts to increase the patient flow of their oncology department, clearly to the detriment of the development of free medicine in the country.
