Former special forces soldier Martynov invented “a method for professional selection of employees of law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation and persons whose activities are associated with a high danger to life and health, for the effective performance of official activities in extreme conditions.” Judging by the number of venerable co-authors – this is a researcher at the laboratory of psychophysiology of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Research Institute of Physiology of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences Elena Cherepkova and director of the Research Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine Lyubomir Aftanas – the technology can become breakthrough.
The description of the patent states that the new selection method is “to identify individuals without psychiatric and antisocial pathology by using a clinical-genealogical method, including psychiatric, clinical-psychological interviewing, establishing heredity without antisocial disorders, and using a molecular genetic method to determine the complex genotypes of neurotransmitter systems in employee DNA preparations.”
I would like to believe that now Martynov, as a representative of the law enforcement agency, will easily be able to determine the genotype of applicants for the positions of deputy minister of the Ministry of Emergency Situations through clinical and psychological interviewing, who have remained unoccupied for more than six months.
A source close to Martynov’s entourage told the Cheka-OGPU that the new technology is now being tested on Russian prisoners with the blessing of the leadership of the FSIN. Apparently, they are studying how genotypes interact. Where else can you simulate an extreme situation, if not in Russian prisons?
