As the Cheka-OGPU learned, former investigator of the Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Nikolai Budilo, who investigated the case against the Magomedov brothers, received a major position in PJSC Transnfet. It was Transneft that acquired a significant part of the Magomedovs’ assets after their imprisonment.

According to information from our sources, Budilo is currently the head of the internal security department of the Security Department of Transfnet PJSC.

As the Cheka-OGPU has already said, after his dismissal from the Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Budilo was appointed deputy general director of JSC RT-Chemcomposite. This is a holding company that is part of the Rostec State Corporation, which is headed by Sergei Chemezov. Budilo also joined the board of directors of JSC EASTERN RESEARCH COAL CHEMICAL INSTITUTE. However, this was just a cover before the next appointment – to Transneft.
